2026 NEOSEF GRAND PRIZE WINNERS
Congratulations to the following 6 Grand Prize Winners at the 2026 NEOSEF. They will represent northeast Ohio as Finalists at the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair in Phoenix, AZ, this May.

2026 NEOSEF – 7th-8th GRADE GRAND PRIZE WINNERS
We would like to congratulate our two 7th-8th Grade Grand Prize winners at the 2026 NEOSEF:
- Dhriti Jayant, Columbia Middle School – “Protecting Probiotics: How Buffer Foods Affect Curd Probiotics During Digestion”
- Harshith Nelabothla, Strongsville Middle School – “Real-Time ASL Word Recognition System”
In addition to the honor and $100 award for placing 1st in their respective categories and all the Special Award prizes, the 7th-8th Grand Prize winners also received $250 in cash award.

2026 EXCELLENCE IN TEACHING AWARD

The Dr. Bapu Gokhale Excellence in Teaching Award recognizes one teacher in the middle school/junior high level, and one teacher at the High School level. Along with a Certificate of Recognition and a crystal plaque, these teachers will each receive a $500 monetary award. We are pleased to announce this year’s recipients are:
- Ms. Lori Cohen from Mentor High School, and
- Mr. David Dahnert from St. Dominic School
