Volunteering Opportunities

We invite you to be a part of making the Northeast Ohio Science and Engineering Fair a success! Whether you’re a seasoned scientist or a passionate community member, there’s a way for you to contribute. Please note that the 2027 NEOSEF will be held at Cleveland State University.

VOLUNTEER DURING THE FAIR
Interested in volunteering at the Fair?
Fair volunteers are essential in helping the event run smoothly. No science background is required—just a enthusiasm and willingness to help!
Sample roles include:

• Event set-up and breakdown
• Registration and check-in
• Project display assistance
• Award preparation
• Printing, signage, and other logistics

Volunteer requirements:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Be able to stand or move for extended periods
• For some roles, be able to lift up to 25 lbs

Whether you’re available for a few hours or the whole day, your help is deeply appreciated.
